It's Time to Shine!

On 12th August, the moon turns new in bold, fiery Leo, and this one comes with extra power, because it's also a total solar eclipse.
Leo is the sign of the heart, of creativity, and of simply being seen. New moons are always a moment to plant seeds for the weeks ahead, but eclipses supercharge things. They tend to bring faster, more unexpected turns than an ordinary new moon — think doors opening (or closing) that you weren't quite planning for.
So what's this one actually asking of us?
Stop shrinking. Leo doesn't do small or quiet. If you've been dimming your own light to keep the peace, stay comfortable, or avoid attention, this eclipse is a nudge to stop.
Create something. Doesn't matter what — write, paint, cook, dance badly in your kitchen. Leo energy wants a creative outlet, not just an intention scribbled in a journal.
Let go to begin again. Eclipses close chapters as much as they open new ones. Something may need to end before the new thing can properly start.
A simple ritual for the day
Light a candle (gold or orange, if you have one) and ask yourself: where in my life have I been playing small? Write down one honest answer. Then write one small, brave action you'll take this week because of it. Nothing elaborate needed, just honesty and a flame.
Wishing you a bright, bold new cycle,
TJ xx
